it is possible dear...since the frequency of the ATC is fixed.... and the aircraft has very powerful transmitters which overwhelms the normal radio tx....

If the ATC would have been operating on the variable/random frequency then it would not have been possible

ATC operates at 1-2 Ghz(aka L Band).............now that's pretty strange that ur receiving their signal at 103 Mhz....!!!!!!
