Wat is the difference bw engine tuning and throttle body service

Hello everyone....i own a honda city 2011 manual.....its been driven 140000 km now.....last time i took my car for maintenace about a year ago to honda motors at 120k miles....and they did everything according to the miles travelled by car....like brake service,mtf oil change,gear oil change,engine tune up and throttle body service....my car ran perfect throughout the year.....and yesterday i took my car to honda motors again for engine tune up....though i wasnt facing any issue but since i got my car tuned up a year ago thats why i thought i should have my car tuned up at 140k miles....they didnt do any tune up and computer diagnostics....rather they just serviced throttle body,brake service and catalytic converter service....my question is
WHETHER ENGINE TUNING AND THROTTLE BIDY SERVICE ARE SAME THING OR NOT AND HOW OFTEN SHOULD A CAR ENGINE BE TUNED UP.....I DNT HAVE MUCH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT CARS ETC THATS WHY ASKING SUCH BASIC QUESTION.

They charged me 8000 rs for all this....i felt as i got fooled by them....thats why asking opinions....i hardly know anything about car and engine science

Havoline formula....after every 3500km i change oil....tyre pressure is exactly like u mentioned....and using regular fuel...never tried high octane....

Thanks.....i myself use to take care of these things fortnightly.....every friday i use to get my engine,air filter,ac filter clean by air blowing...plus tyre pressure check....as i mentioned i wasnt facing any issue...just took my car with a thought to have better fuel economy....but its the same after maintenance.....so i felt i was fooled by them....is it so....they charged 4000 just to clean catalytic converter....and didnt do any tuning or computer diagnostics

Last year changed everything at 120k...now its 140 ....they charged me 26 thousand last year for mtf oil,spark plugs,gear oil,brake service,engine tune up and throttle body service

You missed one thing.....;

Valve clearance / tappet adjustment at every 40k kms..... along with your mentioned scope is called tuning. Rest is general check up

Nothing wrong with check light....isnt havoline a good brand....

O yes tappet adjustment was also done at 120k

Computerized engine check up????????

The only thing they do is Throttle Calibration through computer if it is opened for cleaning or in case of fault troubleshooting diagnostics.

Once i saw a small device on internet...i forget its correct nmae but it was like obd device....they claimed that it can correct some error codes...do u have any idea about that small device....is it of any use
