I know all these things technically. All this is in case of problem and fault. In routine tunning no computerized tunning type of thing exsists.

The discussion was regular routine car tunning in which you missed Tappet adjustement / Valve adjuatment which is the prime part of Engine tunning along with Throttle body service with recalibration through computer.

Just wanted to correct it that you missed that major part to be checked and adjusted at evert 40 / 60 k kms. As the tappets becomes tight due to continuous wear of valve stem and valve seat insert

Sir,as i mentioned they did all these things when i went one year ago at 120k km maintenance....this time i went on 140k....means its just 20k that my car has driven.....so m confused.....do they need to do all that again on additional 20k km travel.....or they need to do at 160k in total....please clear this point.....wat they said after viewing my previous maintenance detail....was that we ll do 20k km inspection and will proceed accordingly....after inspection they told me ur car needs throttle body service,brake service,and catlyst converter service....thats all....

They are trying to mint money.

As you told you have done all above at 120k kms so at 140 k kms, only routine oil change etc. i repeat nothing is required.

Mark it 160K kms for TB service and Tappet adjustment again.
Catalyst converter service should be marked at 180k kms next time.
This time now, you can do wheel rotation and balancing along with all 4 brake pads service (to be carried out at every 10k kms).. Thats it.

Got it btother....i ll keep it in mind....wheel rotation has been done this time....but not sure about wheel balancing whether they have done it alongwith rotation or nt

Today my car was showing this mileage on long route

Mashallah....... you reminded me of my older days with my Beloved Honda City 2012....

I got 21 by restricting not to go beyond 80km/hour on the Eid day from Lahore to Mian Chanu...... I ll see my pics data... may be it is saved some where.....

In the morning it went upto 20 when i was driving without a.c and on 80 km/hr constantly....and no sudden accelaration and brakes.....is this genuine mileage which the meter is showing?
