Hi everyone!

This thread regards general information about the Wateen Internet & TV services in Islamabad/Rawalpindi & Lahore.
Any one looking to subscribe to Wateen or any one who can inform me & others, is requested to participate.

Any reviews by current/previous customers are welcome.
Any information on the coverage area.
Features: channels' list, speed, FUP data, etc.
Information: Reliability in rain or bad weather, customer service, hidden charges, taxes, payments, anything else.

They still keep calling themselves the best broadband out there. I have e-mailed them (several times) and will visit a franchise in 2 days, will post my findings here.

Waise, nayatel has offered some convinient packages as well, but their service is unreliable according to some.

Oooouch, just checked Zong again and Warid as well. These telco companies have all agreed to keep the rates high. 24 GB for 1500 PKR, I could finish that in day, specially when the speed is good, which I know is.

Yeah, limited but the website says FUP as 1000 GB. Even if it is a typo and actually is 100 GB that's good for 1500 PKR. Besides there speed might not be as high as Zong, so wouldn't get consumed right away.

Ok, you were right. Wateen literally is dead. They have discontinued their wireless services, wired services are only available in KHI/LHR ,and only one tariff is available in ISB, which is expensive and forces you to join triple play rather just broadband.
