Water body leakage - Suzuki Mehran 2013 Euro2

AOA Pakwheelers.
I have a Suzuki Mehran 2013 Euro2 109k mileage & I am first owner.
Yesterday I was going out for grocery and I looked at the temperature needle and it was beyond half and I was shocked as it was a rainy day in Islamabad and the car never got so hot. I parked the car on side and checked the fan and it was working. But the radiator bottle was empty. I have always used Suzuki Genuine Coolant in my car's radiator and I had never used water. The coolant had all leaked out of somewhere. I couldn't figure out the leakage point as it was night time.
I filled the radiator bottle with water that I always carry in the car.
Anyhow I managed to get the vehicle back at home.
Next morning, when the car cooled down, I opened the radiator lid and it was empty from inside. I poured water in it and started the car and started looking for the leakages.

I noticed liquid (combo of my old coolant and water) dropping from near the car's belt. I took a video of it and sent it to my mechanic and he told me that " its water body has leaked out.".

I am now willing to get the water body replaced with a new one.
I need suggestions from the community:
1. What company has the best water body available for Mehran euro2 ?
2. I want to take the car for long trip to my village and hilly areas. If I get the water body replaced, will it be safe to drive in hilly areas ?

If u are the owner and ur car has clocked 109k mileage, than goto to any reputed suzuki showroom and buy the original water body, buy it seals, as well as the coolant. inspect the engine timing belt as well as the timing belt tensioner when u open the water body for replacement.

after replacing waterbody, inspect all rubber pipes, replace them if required. check the radiator if it needs cleaning. i think if u were using coolant and the car temperature system was working fine, then the radiator must be clean but to make sure u check all the things when things are already opened up.

as far as the long trip is concerned, if the cooling system is working then it will not be a problem.

I'm afraid if Suzuki still sells Mehran's parts as it has been discontinued.

I will still contact 3/4 Suzuki service centers tomorrow for inquiry.

yes, they still sell mehran parts.

GMB is the brand which is normally available in the market. its price ranges from 2000-3500 depending upon the quality because mehran parts comes in various brands and price range.

to be on safe side, get the original part from suzuki, it may cost a bit heavy but if u r keeping the car for longer period, then dont bother thinking about the expensive part.

Back on the topic with an update. I purchased the Suzuki Mehran Water body from Suzuki Islamabad (I-9) for PKR 2747 dated 5th August 2022. It was enclosed in a simple white box and had a Suzuki Sticker on it mentioning old price (PKR 2698) which was less than what I was charged in reality. Anyways.
The new water body itself had no branding of Suzuki. It had a logo that said "Sundar". I assume Suzuki is arranging the parts from some 3rd party company. I took the water body & went to my mechanic and he told me that this is some "local water body". Anyhow I got the job done and it took an hour or so at maximum & filled the whole radiator with new coolant and paid PKR 1000 as labor charges. Checked for any other leakages but didn't find any fortunately. Now the car runs smoothly.

Dear brother can anyone tell .
I have a 2003 mehran and some noise is coming out of timing belt side. The mechanic told me to get Waterbury changed .as the water body bearing is damaged . and told me a cost of around 4000 total ...
Is the bearing replaceable or I have to buy a new one ?

replace the waterbody its easy and the estimate is ok. buy original from PS.

When u get the car open for waterbody, inspect tensioner bearing as well as timing belt. replace both if required.
