Weak A/C compressor

I came to know that my a/c compressor is weak. No cooling when car is at rest.

Only it cools when it run continuously at 2000 rpm.

Is my compressor really weak? If yes then can it be repaired ? if yes then who can repair that.

first check if ac gas is sufficient.
if it is, and it stops cooling at stationary,
replace with a kabli/used compressor

i dont remem da exact name its sended ya something like its very effective and put le load on engine and gives better performance den original compressor :)... but ofcoure u'll find a kabli around 3-6k range but do take like some warranty from da guy

i think ur compressor is weak....it can be repaired ...but better fr u to buy new compressor ..dont repair it ...the same problem was wid my corolla's compressor i repaired it many times but still it was giving problem ...now i have changed it...n bought new one n it is working very well.......

Yes I have Civic VTI 96 and I went to Cool Sun Safawala Chowk today...They have checked my Car AC Gas with their Meters and said k Gas is Good the Problem is with your Compressor...Change it...It Cant be Repair ...The owner Gave me estimate 9500 new one dnt remember the name and 3500 labour charges.......My AC Kowls when Running but Stop cooling when idle.....
