I think he has a valid concern. Also, the law of 1 dish(or two, I dont remember?) is still there, that will definitely save him money if he just has a good baryani and some chicken salan with naan plus drinks.
the concern here shouldn't just be price it should also be quality. Because most of the companies are making $hit food, by which I mean ganda ghee, ganda dhoodh (in sweet dish) and everything unhygenic and people get sick all the time. And you don't want to start a "new life" by giving diarrhea to hundreds of people and later the same night get 100s of possible bud-duas as well lol...
I've heard gourmet has good catering, they don't usually compromise on quality/standards too much.
