Weird Comment at the top of PW Forum page!

It's super weird to open PW forum website and see this at the top of the page, and every sub page!

"please discuss the alternative ideas and development of vehicles happening across the world here, maintain decency and observe decency. Respect others to earn respect, stay civilized
and remember plenty of development stuff happening in the automotive world may not be available in Pakistan for next 30 years or so."

The message was fine and all good, until the part highlighted in bold above. It seems so out of place. Why PW feels the need to give this negative reminder to all users that Pakistan is such a 3rd world country that 'PLENTY' of stuff does not even come here even after 30 years? It may be true but why such pessimism blatantly displayed at the top of Forum page?

This does not even gel with what's written before, that is to respect each other. Or am I missing something here?

That's actually not true, people do help out a lot, its just that there are some members who lack knowledge but like to butt in everywhere, and this causes a major problem, because then the experienced fellow has to tackle two problems instead of one. And doing that in every thread becomes so annoying that the member then just decides to back off.

Another thing that has majorly come into play is that people have developed an ego problem and lots of threads get side tracked on that, so its, apni izzat apnay haat mein.

Pakwheels was once a friendly playground for car enthusiasts, now its just a forum with the choice being sucked out of it

hmm yes it seems so that this message was intended for someone who may have angered a mod/admin by trolling about how Pakistan gets every new technology. But still, not everyone needs this reminder and it will only confuse members who don't know this background.

When you still have 1980 mehran and 10 year old city with a shark funtenna then this comment is justified

There is absolutely no issue with the veracity of the comment, it is true, justified, we should all embrace it. But what I wrote in opening mail is a bit different.

I was also astonished to see such negative comment that to totaly out of place...then i thought may be this is only me to whom it sounds wiered.
