Getting a weird metallic clanging sound on cold start. Noise goes away after a few seconds. No sound while driving. Using Castrol Magnatec 10w-40 for a while now, was previously using Zic 10w-40. Should I revert? Or change grade to 20w-50?

Does the noise goes away with pressing the clutch? Does the noise goes away after few seconds of drive in 2nd or 3rd gear?
It is timing chain noise, pretty common issue in Corollas as well

not a clutch problem, I think it's the lifters.
I don't need to press the clutch or put it in gear for the noise to go away. a gentle tap on the accelerator pedal and the sound is gone.
I think the recommendation for the timing chain replacement is at 90K. Should I get it done from Suzuki?

I don’t think timing chain replacement is required until it gets damaged etc. the thing that break and loosen often is chain guide.
