Hello, I recently bought a grande 2020 (21000 km driven) it's almost like a brand new car. But yesterday when I was coming after a long drive, I noticed a weird tick tick noise from the dashboard like some sort of plastic is rattling near center AC vents near clock. Can someone please explain what should I do? The car is scratchless and always maintained by Toyota dealership. I am not sure what is wrong and how should I fix it. Noise is not always present, and it's not too loud but whenever it appears it annoys me a lot. It shouldn't happen in a brand new and so-called reliable car.

Take it to dealership and get it fixed under warranty. Its still under warranty I think.

Just for +10bhp and 30Nm of torques. Some says it even increases fuel average to hybrid levels.

Yes, it's under warranty. I will do that. I also had front camera wire issue, that they are replacing under warranty.

I will remove that too, didn't notice before. When I bought the car, first thing I did is removed all the shappers and stickers.

Had that issue in 2016 grande, couldn't find the source, turned out a loose screw in Sunroof / reading lights panel. Incase it isn't from dashboard.

No parts were removed. The car is literally brand new. The noise only appears on a long trip, but not in my everyday use. Although tires seem to be a bit on the harder side. But other than that, it's the best practical car you can get in Pakistan.

I applaud your thought that parts were not touched.. the culprit is missing felt stickers or missing installation lube/grease/wax from the plastic part edges once something is disturbed. Like tracker installation.

same thing is happening in my car Yaris 2016 : (

some rattling sound is coming from exactly the center of the dashboard.
the dashboard was never opened for any kind of work ..

i suspect it has something to do with AC duct flaps under the dashboard .. because i changed their direction multiple times to test out, and the voice minimized, but it's still there : (

can't find time to take it to the mechanic..
