This half filled liquid is not pepsi its a gel inside the plastic of glass. The glass is used to keep beverage cold coz when put in freezer the gel freezes quickly.

May Allah be with you ! My mother is diabetic, it is like a slow poison. You have the access to latest medical facilities, tell me about the latest medical developments to eradicate this. I wish they comeout with some permanent solution to this problem. :(

So the aunty is on insulin or just medication? To control this issue . You have to follow a triangle.

Medication
Balance diet
Exercise/ walk

All above three are must. I m insulin dependent as I am tye-1. There is a transplant but after that life is more tough. Lot of medication so that body don't reject the new pancreas. Diabetes is well documented and researched and if you follow simple steps. Its controllable. If you don't than complication are waiting. Kidney failure, nerves damage and eye sight loss.
Please control the diet of your mom. Proper medication on time and regular visit to doctor plus.. Slight physical activity everyday. InshAllah all will be OK.

She is on Insulin too. She does walk regularly but her diet control is bad and I have learned that in old age you can only tell them to a limited extent that too with extreme care. Her eyesight detoriated in last couple of years but thank God it is under control after doctor advised her to go for Insulin.

Hmmm ... Pancreas transplantation, this is new for me. Any successful cases of transplantation in states or elsewhere ???

@umair2203 pancreatic transplant is successful but doctors hardly recommend it as with Insulin and diet you can spend a normal life. If one cant manage with insulin than After the transplant the life is more serious. Lot of medication life long. Insulin us diet and you are good to go. Look at wasim akram. Best bowler in history and he is type 1 since ages

My mother is also diabetic .. Its a slow poison, need too much care, every time we try our best to keep it normal, but as you know, mother is mother, any time when she got tensed or something is disturbing her, or when she went in the environment her sugar level immediately drops. This is the reason due to high temperature and her health havent made any program to perform Umrah since 2 months...

I just pray for you that MAY ALLAH GIVES YOU HEALTHY AND LONG LIFE.. AMEEN!

Aunty Zeb said it's best to do Umra between November and February.

Here in Saudia whole year you will see only one season that is Summer ... Even in November and February the minimum temperature will be 19 or 20 degree... INSHALLAH my plan is to perform Umrah atleast once in Ramadan, but just waiting for my documents (ID / iqama)...
