Team Pakistan has scored a point at the A1 GP race at Durban.

10th out of 10th.... but so what !! a typical pakistani mufta by noor ali !!!

Sheer luck.....Only coz in the last lap the Indian car stopped due to some technical fault and in the lap before that the Mexican car also went to the pit coz of some problem...otherwise Paksitan would have been 12th.

Well done lol. at last a point. where's adam khan? he drove well last season.

i'll say this much, if the team PK car hadn't been involved in that "traffic jam" just after getting passed by team USA they might have finished 10th on their own for once.

this "point" was handed to us on a plate due to way too many crashes and technical faults.

At last, the first point of the season. Did any body see how happy Nur Ali was when he was interviewed? Good for his confidence. Lets hope we perform well in the future.

Any news regarding Adam Khan?

May not be much relevant but does any of you remember how Pakistan cricket team got into the semis of 1992 world cup.

they need to give Imaad Rizvi a chance behind the wheel of th eTeam Pakistan car,... he's got the skills to put us on the map.

maybe we should write a letter to Mr. Asim Husain (asim@btinternet.com) requesting that they lower the demands on Imaad so that he can get is international B and give A1 a shot (without the strain of findind a million dollars of sponsor money)

ya karthikayan finsihed ahead of noor ali coz we were already a lap down on india when they stopped. so when the race finshed we had only unlapped ourseleves and so we finished in the same position...

@storm..can u tell me what all imaad rizvi has done to get a drive.. i mean qualifications and formula's ? im just asking out of personal curiosity...

why he lost? its a strange question coz commentators was sayiing that the straight line speed of pakistan car is very high, even then we finished 4 laps behind, i saw the race on starsports, all nur ali was trying to do was to keep that car in one piece!! that was also pointed out at the race end by commentators that this is a big success pakistan is still on track, basically he was very slow on turns.

what about indians? what happened to their driver? isn't he a drop out of F1!! he failed to finish.

he has raced single seaters in bahrain for years now and can already handle anything up to formula 3000 (similar to A1 cars). He still has to get his international B liscence, but everyone who knows him knows how good he is. Even the guys in A1 know he has the tallent but sadly they want him to bring a million dollars worth of sponsorship to team PK which is insane!

I know alot of people in A1 and also have raced a F3000 car (off season) but at the end of the day Imaad would run circles around me and the guys at "team PK" know that and still wont give him a break.

This is not racing... i mean did u see how Nur Ali drove... he used 2 slow down when some one wanted to overtake him... it was just not acceptable 2 me atleast he should have tried... i hope Adam Khan returns in the next season... he's completin his education... remember hes just 19...!!!
