What are LED LIGHTS?

LED lights are Faster then ordinary bulbs......but whats the use of LEDs in tale lamps?

LED lights are basically Light Emitting Diodes,they operate at 3-5V potential,& usually they doesnt fuse like bulbs.

But Corolla is havin the LED tale lamps but not the brake lights

and city doesnt have at all...new Accord have!

not true, Leds can die out but not usually before 40 to 80,000 hours of usage. Also, their lights are usually not as bright and do not spread light as well, usually directional. I intalled pure white 9-led lights in all my interior dom lights. Looks pretty cool, I'll post up pics tonight after I take some! They look very nice in the interior, very easy to remove the regular bulb and put them in (I recommend the 9-WLEDs which are pretty bright and look almost bluish white like HIDs)

yar fuse to shayad nahi hotee but once i applied 12v from adoptor to a single LED (red color)...
it starts glowing in bright red color... then it got maroon... it got dull and then......

well to my knowledge seeing the lights of toyota the brake and parking light is emmited by same led bulbs .i am little confused about the turning and reverse lights

Here is exact difinition of LED lights

A Light emitting Diode made from gallium phosphide or gallium arsenide. It forms a display whichgenerates light by elctro luminescence.

Though LED can become difficult to see in strong sunlight still car makers like Alfa Romeo and BMW use it for the tail lights in their cars.

All new Corollas have LED breaklights. They are good for visibility even during sunlight/daylight and fog and visible from a long distance.

But y Corolla doesnt have LEDs on stop lamps which is just wright behind the seats?

Fast LED in tail lamps means that the driver coming behind you will see your brake light 40 % earlier than the brake light of the car with convential bulb.
But this will be only a nano second or less difference I guess.
But its sort of Marketing Gimick as the conventional bulbs are not that slow either
