For day time thieves 5 to 10 minutes is the total span, i agree, i am talking abt the thieves who steal cars from homes / garages during night. Refer to above two threads i have posted, both relate to punjab i guess.

happened in Karachi - people thought that the lifter was just traffic enforcement - later found out that about 8 cars had been stolen along with about 40 motorcycles. Nice innit. while you are chilling in Jail, ask around for some car-theft crooks they will tell you all hows to steal a car.

Thats strange. I have personnally met a gang of car thieves, at AVCC. They were night gang, and telling that once they have entered the house, they usually have 2 to 3 hours to do the job. They usually enter the house after 3 AM and have to take the car as early as possible.

best would be to make a holster for a pistol in the dash and aim it towards the crotch of the driving seat, arm it with a solenoid on the trigger and security device to trigger the solenoid.if the security device is not deactivated the solenoid will pull the trigger and BAM..BEST SECURITY KARACHI STYLE.

you did not see the hidden part - the pistol is to be hidden behind the dash panel - so it surely fires off - It can also fire off if the owner of the car wakes up lazy after a wild night and forgets to disarm it.

Your comments depict that you have not gone through the threads i have posted. What else security measures normally a person takes for his home? in one thread, there was a main gate locked and another grill gate that was locked as well.
