ALL locks can be broken and all trackers can be jammed. We should try to find the best possible and time consuming lock/tracker, as time is most important in these cases.

How about a INSURANCE/TAKKAFUL + STEERING LOCK + TRACKER (As takaful/insurance company will not insure without tracker) + 2/3 choor switches hideen at different places.

I know all can be broken by theives and car gangs, but the idea is to get them confused and consume more N more time

Your comments depict that you have not gone through the threads i have posted. What else security measures normally a person takes for his home? in one thread, there was a main gate locked and another grill gate that was locked as well.

It depends upon the size of house. Like i have 240 sq yd house, room door is closed while we are asleep, ghunta kuch sunai dega:D bahir sala bomb bhi phut jaye to sunai nahi deta.

i got a 2way steelmate system,so i just press lock button n remote turns green showing car is in range n is locked n be tension free
no need to run outside to check if car is there

anyways the best thing one can do other than insurance is to get security cams installed n some1 at home can keep an eye,atleast em up almost all night
that wasnt the best solution i was talking about but can b second best
best would be to hire a guard n a trained dog un chained at night

Yes, that is good measure. I am also looking for a motion sensor alarm, which will start making noise if it detects any motion in a range. I had one at my home, but removed as it had no size of object settings, it kept on alarming even with the enterance of a rat / cat.

i was guessing same thing would happen with motion sensors
just install a cam near ur car n keep watching it on ur pc n on ur tv in ur room at night
guard is a better solution though,as he'd be keeping an eye while u sleep at ease
or park some old car behind ur new car n take out its battery or something that theif wont be bringing with him to start it,i always park mine ahead n the other car behind it
gates are noisy,even if a little bit of them is opened one can hear its noise till inside,thats a benefit
though few months back some charsi's climbed inside through wall n stole almost 8 gutter heads(dont know what its called) n we didnt knew until the other day

like the family who lives in basement,they park one car inside,n the other outside the gate right next to gate n both cars chained to each other but obviously in the end that china lock is of no use used to lock the chain

i have space to park 5-6 cars in one lane,it would be so better to park the car at front n all oldies at back

I have a 2004 XLI.. Waisay tu i always try to recite AYAT UL QURSI and apart from that i have an old tracker installed in it way back from 2004. BUT do u think that old corollas are also prone to theft ?? I think otherwise, and therefore not doing much for the security .

but am really worried about the NEW COROLLA which i am Inshallah thinking to buy in September

Most sane people would sleep at night. Do u suggest us to keep on pressing the lock/unlock button the whole night and keep checking it ?

I also park 3 cars inside with the most noisy one in the end and most new one in front...plus my main gate is also huge and noisy

BTW that motion sensor is a good thing if its installed at main door so that if the door opens without disarming the sensor, then alarm goes off

I was going through some website for Anti theft device and it said that you may remove "IGNITION FUSE OR COIL OF VEHICLE" when the car is parked in a lonely area
