Petrol is leaking from my GS150 carb breather hole which causes bad fuel average (only 30 Km/l) i checked float height from two different method 1: Clear tube method2: RulerFloat height is accurate and bike is not doing missing, hiccups e.t.c ,spark Plug colour is light brown. I clean the carburetor twice and clean every jet and hole thoroughly but when i touch the breather hole my finger become wet due to petrol.Expert members help me.
Is the needle valve sticking? The float and the needle valve have to operate smoothly to function properly in addition to the correct float level.
sir if needle valve stuck and does not sit properly so why petrol is not leaking from float bowl drain hole and only leaking from carb vent hole?
Is that drain hole clear of sediment? The carburetor needs a thorough cleaning and rebuild, which is an easy job if done right. Do you have access to compressed air?
carb drain hole is clear i checked it today sometimes when i touched the drain hole with my finger one or two drops of petrol is leaked and sometimes i touched it and nothing happened and yes i have access to air compressor.
Get a complete rebuild kit, take the whole thing apart, clean and blow out everything meticulously and re-assemble with new service parts.
