honestly the 5W30 being offered by honda nowdays is the biggest joke i've ever heard,.. i used to use 5W30 in my car in switzerland!!! i can assure you that hondas "approved oil" is the worst grade of oil you can put in your engine.
obviously if you have money to burn then you should go for a "pure synthetic" (polyalkyleneglycol) - these are the ones which once used you cannot go back to mineral oil in an engine (not to be confused with "synthetics". polyalkyleneglycols can be blended for your specific application,.. but they'll cost at least 100 times more than a synthetic.
back to reality, if you can afford it, play safe and go synthetic from day 1 and change it no later than 5000kms,... any more than that and you'll actually be able to see mud in the oil as our filters (all brands) suck at small scale filtration.
I've never seen the benefits of synthetics as i find that changing a good mineral oil more regularly makes more sense than using a synthetic for long periods.
as for Fuchs and Petromin,.. they aren't that well known (yet) becasue (like the corolla and civic) they are not household names in pakistan,... even though both brands have better oil than every other company in PK (please ask your oil stockists if you want proof of that - i'm sure they know about these brands).
havoline 360rs/litre wholesale
Zic A+ 330rs/litre wholesale
Castrol GTX 300rs/litre wholesale
personally i think that even theor wholesale prices are insane as there are alternative "imports" in that price range which offer better protection.
do note:
THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS "CNG OIL"
it's just marketing BS.
