What engine oil is best for Toyota Corolla 1.6 2015

Hi Pakwheelers I want to ask to all of you all that what engine oil should I use I am currently using zic oil and my car fuel average has significantly dropped can If I use castrol Magnatic 10w40 it will be best or not or any other oil please guide me?

Which engine oil grade are you currently using?

What fuel efficiency are you currently getting, under which speed, and circumstances?

What is the current engine health? Do you observe any oil consumption issues, oil level drop on dipstick, or smoke from the exhaust? etc.

Trsut me, ZIC is not a bad brand, provided you are using correct grade of engine oil, and buying from authentic sources (saying it based on my personal experience).

I also live in Karachi and I am aware of the temperature. However I am using 5W30 and it is giving good mileage. You've created another topic regarding the bad fuel average of your car, so it would be wise to go for 5w30 now, see if that helps with the average. Don't use magnatec 10w40, it is not even synthetic.

in any efi engine only use 5W-30 grade if you are up north, or 10W-30 down south along river indus,

buy only from brand station

I agree with capsat

It concerns how much mileage and territory avg temperatures during summers and winter's. Areas with snow would use a different oil than coastal areas.
Do check with your car OEM recommendation and match the mileage and temperatures. Finalize a oil type and stick with it.
