What fuel average are you getting on Altis Auto 1.6?

What fuel average are you guys getting inside city in Corolla Altis 1.6 Auto facelift?

I drive with extremely light foot, try my best to keep the RPM under 2000, put the car in neutral before approaching a traffic light and take all the precautions I can to save fuel. But I am still getting 10.5 KM/L average while driving inside city (Islamabad) and most of my driving is done during non-rush hours so I don’t get into traffic jams either. 10.5 KM/L seems to be quite less especially with this driving style. This average was calculated based on a full tank to empty tank and 455 KMs driven.

Corolla Altis 1.6 Facelift 2017. 30K driven.

This is maximum you can achieve with Altis 1.6 because it has conventional AT transmission not CVT. If fuel average is your concern, you should've bought Grande 1.8. It offers 14kmpl easily because it has CVT transmission.

That is too low. Even my gli auto is giving me average of 13 nowadays...

Behtareen hai. I am driving altis 1.6 auto since july 2015. I get 10.5~10.75 in city and 14 on motorway.

I get 12 from mine. And you should average around 70 kmh, that is what gets mileage

Mine is giving me 11.5 to 12 kmpl. from Tarnol to Saddar near PC and back.

My vehicle is in dire need of engine tuneup and Cat cleaning along with spark plug replacement but routine nowadays is brutal enough not to spare me some time for car.

Don't do this. It's dangerous and not something you should do in an automatic car.

22000 kms odo 2017 Corolla 1.6 variant - 40 liters top up at 510 - 522 kms in Karachi casual run between KHI & Nooriabad

I have driven the car 18,502 KMs since i bought it an year ago. The avg consumption from the time i bought comes out to be 15.48 KM/L.

80-90% of the driving is between Chaklala and Blue Area, Isb.

Highest I ve obtained is above 18 Km/L on a whole fuel tank during Ramzan this year (when office timings were changed for gov depts and public sector).

Worst i ve got is 12.11 KM/L on a trip to Miranjani (galiyat).

I can cover 700 KMs easily in one fuel tank (without filling to brim and without the reserve light turning on). but usually I fill up the tank when 1/4 fuel remains

Karachi Hyderabad - PVT taxi Operators are running 17+ a liter. in Auto 1.6 They add only 40 liters at HASCOL pump at Sabzi Mandi Karachi - ( ofcourse there is enough already in tank )

do 4.5 round trips in approx 40 liters, 4+1 adults in the vehicle AC running. distance between 2 points is approx 146-148 kms

i have 2019 at present, had the 2015 1.6 before this, both gave the same figures

My 2004 1.6 auto rolla, when reaches the quarter tank according to gauge, it only done with around 280 to 300KMs

Mine gives 8-9km/1L on local driving in a town, where I am from. Although covering short trips.

2016 1.6 Altis 28k driven.

you can't compare old technology to the new one, especially one driven in isb and the other in abbottabad
