What in this sensor? is this ELD?

I have civic 2002 1.6 auto.. this sensor or regulator (dont know what it is) was near ECU behind the glove box.. local stupid electrician was messing with it and trying to calibrate this.. but at the end of the day car isn't shifting proper and running rich on fuel.. please help me to calibrate this sensor and can anyone tell me how to test its voltage..and what is normal voltage..waiting for a positive response..

This is a Trimpot which is used as replacement of O2 sensor to adjust air fuel mixing ratios.
It must have 3 wires
1. Voltage (most probably 5v or 12v)
2. Ground
3. Signal wire which gives output to ECU

Use a multimeter. Attach 1 spoke to ground wire and the other to signal wire and read the output.
Don’t remember the default value. But ur only solution now as u have already fiddled with it is to get the reading from some other car and set it by turning it.
U can’t set it properly without a multimeter and original known output

Thanks brother.. I have a multimeter.. And i was thinking to adjust it according to default volts.. But didn't find any information on the internet about it.. Still confused about voltage..

What happens if lessen the voltage? Will it leans the mixture? Also default value for civic 2000 vti oriel is also 2.5?

i guess you should increase it..2.24 shows that there is not enough fuel .. that is why your mixture is rich.. this is my assumption..

Yes I tested few hours ago in my civic 2000 and the middle one is the signal wire.

Someone told me that if I decrease voltage then mixture will be lean. Please confirm @babarhyd

Yes it will be lean if voltage is decreased.

My car is giving max 5 km per liter so I have to lean alot to get it right?

5kmpl is cruiser territory .... alhamdullilah mine is giving 9-10 in city on light foot and 15-17 on long on highway speeds but shifting is not smooth.. that is why i want to adjust it according to default calibration..

If you are having shifting issues, also look for TPS calibration. You may also need to replace your ATF.

Yes
because engine is swapped to D15Z6 that is why this is happening. A 1500cc engine need less fuel than 1600cc and my wiring is and ecu are for 1600cc D16Y8.
That's why I want to lean my mixture

TPS is calibrated correctly... 0.5-4.5V and ATF is fine..its due to fuel mixture..i have confirmed

Bro it is constant on all rpm. It simply is a variable resistor which is getting a 5V source and ground and then the resistor is cutting down 5V signal into how much you move the screw.
