What is cambring?

my mehran was driving like a boat with absolutely no road grip and it felt like it will either fly away or skid into another car.

so i went for wheel allignment to honda people. the guy there told me that your car needs cambring and bush are also need to be changed then it needs wheel alignment. he was asking 1000 rupees for cambring.

so can experts here please tell me that what is cambring and do i really need this in my car to make its driving smooth? shouldn't just alignment and bushing change alone fix my problem?

This is camber

Any allignment shop adjusts this.
This is adjusted by the nuts and bolts at the lower end of front shocks where hubs are connected.
Normally camber and toe both are adjusted from any computerised allignment shop in Rs 500/400.

It is not advised to allign the wheels if suspension bushes are worn out/to be replaced.

It should be very cheap for mehran. Wheel alignment & cambring should not cost you more than Rs.300 so don't get ripped by paying Rs. 1000 for this.... Don't know how much the bushes replacement will cost you for mehran

thanks everyone for the advice. i will get the bushes changed and then wheels alignment will be done. it will cost approximately 600 rupees including labor and parts.

Front camber on a mehran is a fairly simple job. Get all suspension issues solved before going for an alignment.

my new tyres were being worn from inside so i got cambring done. three different mechanics told me that this was necessary so i got it done. they sent shocks to kharadia and cambered them and aligned them; took 900 rupees. 250 was the cost of suspension bushes. car is fine now.

last month i had the same problem with my mehran cambrings adjusted,alignment done plus balancing costed me 700 rs from muree rd
