Hello, There is a small black button beneath steering wheel of my vitz. I want to know the function of this button. I have 2006 model vitz.
Looks like a poorly positioned anti theft switch!
Easy way to know, what happens when you press it !?
trace the wire you will get to know what is the job of this button.

This is some after market "chor switch" probably.
My Prius has a similar button as well with a wire leading inside the steering console. I too don't know what it is. Came this way from Japan.

I think nos button, start car put in D and run for a while and press it see if u can talk to air
so it's still a mystery
My car has it too, from Japan. Could it be something for Japanese maps navigation?
