What is the best car man has ever made?

For me its the Mercedes 300sl, iconic car and was a first in so many levels and arguably the worlds first proper supercar.

plus what really seals the deal for me is the related 1950s MB transporter for the car, it was the only racing team who brought their cars straight form the factory to the racetrack and went back on the autobhan at a 100mph to the factory to get tweaked and fixed and back the roace track at 100mph before the next race and this allowed them much success. I just love the idea, it had the same engine as a 300sl and is just so odd looking with the tires so much behind the cab. also had height adjustable suspension when it came to unloading time I think. It was designed to be aerodynamic and all this in the 1950s! best of both worlds.

You sir just brought an awesome car in this thread. It is one of most brilliant coupes of all times. You know the car was just designed for only races earlier.

I had read an article according to which NISMO is going to start or stared production (as article is 3 years old) of GTR R35 which is able reach 0 to 100 km/h in 2 sec....
which makes GTR the fastest accelerating car of the world
@walzor did you know anything about this?? i don't thinks it's launched...

R35 has lost the charm, very less involvement of the driver and more involvement of the computers. Plus gtr fan boys commenting on every other car saying but gtr is faster. Ruined it for me.

C63 amg, this one right here was amgs one of the best produuced cars. 6.2 litre absolutely beast engine not menat to do 0-100 in 2 secs but rather to give a driver a wide smile. At 60 lakhs (standard price, not in Pakistan) this car was totally worth it, every penny. Its sound being the best thing ever. The new one is no less, although the sound is not the same because of 4.4 litre engine but it has not lost the character, it has a way better interior too. The best selling car of amg and my dream car c63.

In the mid and late 80's the challange was to beat the 200mph barrier..back then ferrari, lamborghini and porsche were at it.. 87 came the year of the f40.. the last ferrari which enzo had magically crafted.. and what a machine! not only the speed, the f40 looks exotic! its been 30 years since this car went into production, still ousthines many new supercars of the current era..personally i think it is probably the best car man had made.
