Kids here dubbing their favorite super car as the best car, haven't got a hang of it. How can a ridiculously expensive, absurdly fragile, insanely impractical car be the best car ever? It's only made to look good and go fast. And both these charms would fade away rather quickly within a decade.
If any fast car has to make the list, I'd- very carefully- choose from the list of hot European station wagons. And that's because they go, handle, and stop well. They're roomy and comfy. They're packed with gadgets and driver-aids, they can work almost everywhere and carry anything, and most of them are very beautiful and contemporary.
Making a fast and stylish supercar is one thing; ask Nobel. Mass producing an estate car that's fast, stylish AND practical, is something else.
