What is the fuel consumption of Altis (1.8 VVT-i)

Hello brothers!
i have purchased a new toyota corolla altis 1.8 vvti 2 months ago.i m trying to find out its exact fuel average(km/ltr) but i still can't do.so if any body of u have altis or any experience about it then please tell me about its average in city and highway.also with/without ac.thnx please.

fill the tank to its rim n drive 10/15 kms in city n then fill up the tank to that level again...now divide the number of kms by the number of litres..this gives u the city milage..simple man

mine's auto and it gives 9.5-10 km/l in city and 16-17 on highway (speed at 80-100). At 120 it goes down to 14-15. Manual should be 1 km/l better than auto.

my altis gives around 450km with ac city driving mein with the ect power mode on!

ect power mode sure feels good but practically burns petrol at a stupendous rate !

thanx every body.all altis owners please tell me how did u find altis peformance is?it is my first ride and people around me are saying that it is less durable than a xli/gli and even 2.0D.

Altis is good, minus its limiter at 180 kmph.

verry powerful..... will never hesitate accelerating on fully pressing the gas..even on Cng... Ac rocks...and the performance is unnoticeable while AC ON...
m a HOnda fan but still love Altis coz its the best option corolla..have to sacrify economy......go for manual.its fun to drive...

my cl9 is doing 9km/l in city with ac, and it is 2400cc, not impressed with the milage of altis.

Yeah, exactly very nice and powerful engine, AC rocks, I just bought 2005-2006 Altis, earlier I had 1.8 Hyundai in Dubai but I find Altis 1.8 even far better than that as far as engine power is concerned.

lastime i posted was in 2007 saying the car gives 450km when the car was new! well now after 7 yrs the car gives 350km!

wear and tear tht takes place and besides that the car does start to lose a certain amount of horse power over a period of time!

power and performance can easily be reclaimed, use fuel injector treatment of some good brand like toyota or liqui moly then use fuel system treatment then change spark plugs and fuel filter. you car's performance and fuel consumption would be as good as new

u cannot get the lost horsepower back which an engine loses as it ages! yeh woh wali baat kardi tum ne keh jawani mein u can lift 500kg ahraam seh but as u age and get old u cant lift that 500kg so easily anymore its not that uv changed ur the same person same everything but bones adn muscles pe wear and tear has taken place! and eating vitamins and drinking protein shakes will not give u the same stamina and energy as which u had jawani mein! same goes for an engine...liquids and other stuff cannot fix the wear and tear thats already taken place on the cylinders,pistons,valves etc and is taking place in the engine!

I have a 2011 Altis auto, done 69,000 kms and when I drive it gives 10-10.5 km/L in city, and when my brother drives it gives 8-8.5 km/L. I generally keep car in 2,000 rpm range and brother drives in 3,000 rpm range. On Khi-Isb trips it has consistently given 14km/L, but if I keep below 100km/h it gives 16km/L.

lets see in couple of years and approx 120k kms on odo how it performs.
