Sorry, but that is how it is designed.
Bumpers are designed to give a lesser impact to pedestrians aswell.
Pakistan mei koi poochnei wala nae hai. But it should be illegal to use thoose stupid bumpers in passenger vehicles, also it adds useless weight to the vehicles.
With your logic of saving the vehicle one should wrap the car around in the roll cage. And thoose steel pipes taxis or Bolan vans have to save bumpers.
