What is the price for OEM parking sensors, electric curtains, back-view camera?

Hey guys!

I was wondering that what could be the price for the following items for a 2007 Mercedes Benz C180 Kompressor Elegance.

1. OEM Parking Sensors (for both front and rear bumpers).

2. OEM back-view camera.

3. Electric curtains (rear curtain is very important).

4. Day-time-running lights in blue.

And, if I get the camera, is it possible that will it work with my car?

I would really appreciate if you could answer my question!

i personally asked priced of rear curtain for my car, cost should be similar for yours, it was 75000rs, it will also require a new rear parcel shelf, this is for the original mercedes power shade, sides curtains for back seats you can get from shahnawaz price 45000rs they dont come powered

parktronic should be above 1.5 lac, its not a cheap option from factory even

back view camera would only work if you have the full Command Navigation system do you have that? or do you have the small lcd display behind the door in the centre console

original daytime running lights would be hard to find and they dont come blue as far as i know from factory. they also wont fit to your car as you have foglights, i think theres a option for daytime running lamps in the convenience menu in the instrument cluster, it will turn your high beams on at a low intensity, i have that option in my car,

there are after market generic ones but real daytime lights have a control module too and would also require messing with the wiring which is not a good idea. in your car they would go in place

an aftermarket one would still not work as a local electrician or car deck shop person cant install it as theres no av or rear cam input in the headunit, it will require wiring through can bus and the head unit itself will need a software update and programmed otherwise it wont recognise the camera, i doubt even if shahnawaz could help you.

however some c classes mostly 2010 and above do have video cables in the trunk behind the lining, see if you have any connections present that would at least make wiring easier

genuine mercedes camera kit retails for 499pounds in the uk as a mercedes accessory, if you can get hold of that it should work without any software upgrades you would also need this cable

for the price i dont think its worth it, its a easy enough car to park good visibility just drop the rear headrests.

regular universal obd scanners do work, but they dont give anything else than generic top level fault codes, mercedes uses a STAR diagnostic system through which you can control everything and even gets codes from tcm and climate control system. A local consumer cant buy that. i dont think you really need a obd scanner with it. it already gives coolant temp etc in the instrument cluster, and you can reset service reminder light via cluster too so its not needed. it will give you a malfunction warning if something goes wrong.

i would like to repeat, dont let any one jugaar a rear view camera in your car, i was looking for head unit upgrades for my car as well and came across many high end car audio shops who said they can do these things and its their work,

the car uses a can-bus system, if you try to power the camera though the license plate light this would display a bulb failure malfunction in instrument cluster and the camera wouldn't work either consequently.

I'll post some pictures regarding the rear trunk and wiring connection points. I don't know how to identify them so if you could help me, then I would appreciate it.

And please elaborate on the "it should work" part, does it mean that is there a possibility that it will not?

read this, only issue is coding the command system to make it recognise and select the camera when in reverse, ask shahanawaz if they can do that and get hold of this kit, only then it'll work

at over 60,000rs how badly do you need a rear view camera:)

show me pics of the trunk if there is wiring present and there is a live wire as well you could try to connect a aftermarket camera and see if it works

show me a picture of your centre console as well especially the buttons on the dialpad on the deck controls, theres one more way i remembered but not sure if it will work on your car,

theres a way to access a hidden engineering menu in the command through which you can enable rear camera input, changes frequencies for radio tuner if your car is japanese and many other settings, then you wont require any programming i believe
