Assalamo Alikum my dear friends
I have never travelled to Kalash valley, but have read some travelogues about it. One thing, common, extreme heat & a long, long distance to reach there!
My question on this forum is that, like people can name DOZENS of worth visiting spots, in Swat valley, Naran Kaghan, Galiyat, Hunza etc. what is the main attraction of Kalash valley (APART from that festival) ? Like, are there lovely lakes, snow capped peaks and base camps to any famous mountains etc.?
Moreover, if anyone can tell me, has Lowari tunnel been opened for good now or not yet ? And you reach Kalash through Lowari tunnel right (if not by air, RIP JJ!)?
