What is this on my dash?

As the title states? What is this thing? I'll be pulling the dash to see where the wire goes when I get some free time, but any ideas?

sir what else is installed (or any empty housing) over the Pajero 2002 dashboard.
is there any empty card reader slot on driver or the passenger side ??

it seems to be a toll reader antenna or a GPS antenna wrongly left out of place after main unit is removed from vehicle.

I have not seen anything. The only thing is a dvd/cd changer underneath the glovebox in the passenger footwell. Not sure if this has anything to do with that.

I'll pull the radio fascia panel out and see if I can trace the wire.
