What is touching, touchups, shower?

AOA, every one.
I am looking for a used car. I am not expert in finding used cars. While looking at used car ads there are lots of terminologies used to describe car condition which are confusing. Can anyone explain and differentiate between them as i dont want to call to sellers and waste their and mine time
Kindly explain and differentiate:
outside touching
Minor touching
Touchups
Shower etc

Touchups, touching is same means a patch or piece is painted or half painted... In metallic paints, that almost impossible even by squad one level places

Shower generally means car is painted completely. Sellers show that thay they just did it for fresh looks..total.bullshit...so a good term to make buyers fool.

There is no harm if the car is decently painted and not major accidented . Here in Pakistan , people have some phobia of a Genyon Paint. Rather Its just a piece of metal !

How can a piece be half painted? I mean lacquer would be used on whole piece?
Secondly touch ups means that potine is also used?

Wese @fastian04 bhai, i once showered my black car as it was a scratch magnet and the white seams began to show after repeated compounding done by previous owner. I hated that and got a good quality paint applied to the original layer. That's not at all bad for the health of the car but unfortunately people lie about these things. Some people don't disclose showered cars because it's only done for genuine reasons making it a dishonest deed. Whatever car one buys just make sure that you check it thoroughly and that the user does not hide anything e.g. always check all papers in person before advance payment etc. don't just believe that these records or papers exist. Personal experience.

Bhai if seller is honest all is well wasay its always so easy to identify a repaint.. not sure why people still get decieved. Ise some inspection service if u have no idea amd pay as per the market value

There are experienced body shops who replicate the orange peel of the bad quality factory paint from the factory. One has to look past the orange peel.
