What Should I buy 2016 Used Civic or New Civic 2019

As the title pretty much say everything.I'm confused about buying the new zero meter Civic 2019.
Or should go for the Used 2016-17(preferably under 50, 000KM) with good condition, the price difference is about 6-8 Lakh.

I'm planning to keep it for around 2-3 years.

Anyone like to shed some light on the pros and cons of both options.

Asalam o alaikum. Bro if you have the means and the budget, always go for the newer car. I have gone through this process several times and it has never worked out too well to me. Even if a car seems to be in good nick you still won't have the peace of mind regarding what sort of oil the previous owner used, installing new tyres or any other mechanical issues in the past that might have been fixed that may show up again. A newer car will come under warranty, is facelifted has nice led headlights, it will be a color of your choice and last but not the least you will have peace of mind, which for me at least is worth a lot.

Thank you for advice, yes I do consider peace of mind should be a main priority that is why I'm little more inclined towards new car.

If u know how to check a car properly, one can save a good amount by getting a used car. Well maintained low mileage car is a better deal if funds are considered. If u are dependant on others to check car for you...in that case newer should be the only choice, to avoid scams. Saving only comes, if one has the skill and knowledge regarding cars buying and selling... technicalities

You don't have to get a 2016 Civic. A 2017 model with low mileage would also save you a lot of money.

Since you plan to.keep 2-3 years. Go for used one . You ll get good deal. Car below 50k will not have any significant issue.
