What should I get Audi Q3, BMW X1 or Mercedes GLA

I am looking for a good German crossover and these are the three main contenders but I am confused upon choosing between them can someone tell me what will be best as they are in same budget

Among three go for an X1 which is holding major share in market and best in price (presently)

In Pakistan all 3 come with underpowered engines. 1.4-1.5 liter. All show and no go.

Plus they are all turbo. They will all give knocking on our local fuel.

Depends on your driving preference

All 3 have very unique driving experience in their own but remember that you will need a nice repairshop and some spare time and a spare car when these are in repair shop.

But as said above, they are high stress turbocharged engines, if you do buy one make sure its actually sourced from the local agency and not some lunatic jdm importer

Not good experiences with X1 and Dewan after sales. I'd tell you to stay away from it. Let others comment about Q3 and GLA.

For Pakistani market, go for a Toyota Fortuner or a Sportage. maybe its not as fun. But it has entire service backup. Unlike BMW who dont even have a engine, a engine starter, brake pads in stock and have to be imported on order. My friend had to leave his X1 for 3 months for engine replacement and later a engine starter (self) being faulty. Later on periodic service they had to order brake pads at 25,000 km because they sensors needed to be replaced. Although only changing sensors would do the job.

Maybe cases with Audi and Mercedes in pakistan are different.

Yes, either Germans dont care about the Pakistan market or God knows what is the issue. This case was dealt by BMW middle east aswell.

Yes I have heard Audi horror stories too. The most recent I remember about the steering rack replacement in some car on Facebook. Have a few mercs in the family. Dont know about bad reviews of Shah Nawaz just that my cousin told me they told them to drive the car and not let it sit idle to develop issues. (Being driven 10k in 10 years)

Most of the time Dewan doesnt even have oil and filters in stock so forget about major parts

I already have a sportage and a fortuner, I want to get one of them as a second car I think GLA will be best as I have had good experience with shahnawaz but I do not know much about Dewan and Audi aftersales

Not sure about GLAs pricing but I suppose mercs are always expensive due to the bigger engine displacements.

Hence you dont see any GLAs on the roads when comparing with X1 or Q3

I think that Audi Q3 will be better as it is a newer model then the GLA and price is loosely the same

Allhamdulliah, I just bought Mercedes GLA today I had to choose between it and Q3 as I was not impressed by Dewan customer reviews so I did not go with the X1 and I went with GLA as it was cheaper than Q3 and had good features and also Q3 was not available in ready stock and because of covid situation I did not want to get fresh import as it would have taken too long so at the end I went with GLA and enjoying it a lot till know I would give my in-depth user review later after driving it a bit more.

Initially I knew zero about these German brands, however, after doing a little bit of research, I have found that Mercedes vehicles are outclass in all respects, when compared to similar league vehicles by BMW, and especially Audi.

BMW, and Audi, are a bit fragile, and not that reliable. Rest their owners can best judge, discuss, and guide about their issues.
