What should we check before buying a brand new bike?

hi everyone. i want to ask what should we check before buying a new bike ?
should we check something ? or not ?
i want to buy ravi piaggio
where should i buy it in lahore ? which is biggest ravi sales centre ?
what should be the meter reading of the bike ?

you don't need to worry too much while purchasing new bike
mostly bikes are ok but occasionally yes you can get defected piece
So If you know a good mechanic take him with you and let him check bikes parts
such as handle,wheel alignment,suspension & other parts. you can do this yourself also
You should check whole bike & see if bike ok i mean not scratched or any part damaged while transporting

First thing before buying a bike we should check money in the pocket LOL:) Joking.

It should be resale, availability of spare parts easily, consumption of bike. Near to me nothing is important than this before buying a bike. But in that case agar kisi bike pe crush/shouk ho to koi bhe bike chale ge bcoz shouk ka koi mool nhe phir ravi piaggio bhe ok ha honda road master 200 bhe ok ha phir sab chalta ha.

1. Pour in fuel and make sure it's not leaking, take the fuel in some can with you !! (Fuel cork was leaking in my case)

1. Take out the oil gauge and make sure its filled to the mark

3.Rotate the rear wheel on double stand and make sure its free revolving. Sometimes the chain is extra tight and it puts burden on new engine

1. Look for cosmetics, means no dent, scratch

2. Just give it a keen look and inspect if there's any loose net

3. Dont forget to take side mirrors, helmet, Warranty card and booklet and tool kit

4. Buy mithai afterwards for all biker from PW who helped you in this decision

In my case, the first Yamaha junoon showroom guy tool out for me had a faulty fuel gauge, instead of being at empty it was showing full petrol without any patrol ans without key turned on.

And yes look closely for dents, scratches, imperfections in paint job, all electronics working such as hi/low beam, indicators, brake lights, odor lights etc.

Check for battery acid level, chain, air pressure(its low for a new bike from factory, which is the correct pressure for single person) clutch and brakes has proper free play.

Start and listen to the engine closely, any strange sound etc.

Also I don't trust on the patrol they provide,take along a 1.5 ltr bottle and use it. Don't take petrol from them as it is not pure usually, bad for ur carb and engine.

Before giving payment and riding the bike read Bismillah. Before buying pray that Lord give me a best unit without any problems whatsoever and save you and your bike both from bad eyes. After buying the bike immediately give Sadqah amount can be from 1 Rs. to 1 million it's up 2 u

also check that Battery sy any wali pipe. in my case it was not fitted , there is a small drop of acid or what ever it is on my bike's engine.

Yes,, With every RAVI bike there's free helmet although the showroom wala wont give it easily. They gave me no helmet with R.Piaggio while buying Ravi Humsafar 70cc i insisted in helmet.. And they gave it
