What to check to improve fuel consumption in 2008 camry

I have a 2008 Camry with a very poor fuel consumption. I put a new air cleaner, cleaned three sludge from throttle body, tire pressure is 28lbs, 17" wheels, put a bottle of stp fuel injector cleaner, and need guidance what next to do to improve the fuel consumption in the range of 8-12liters/100kms. At the moment its about 18liters/100kms. Fuel cap is ok.
Please help.

Have you done is general tuneup? - it also entails checking and adjusting the valve clearances. A great deal of fuel mileage is dependant on that.

You also have to make sure the engine oil being used is no more heavier than a 5w30 - it provides optimum fuel economy.

I would also suggest to have the AFR sensor tested for response time and adjustment. If it goes lazy your fuel mileage will suffer quite badly. And if in any case you need to replace it, do not buy anything other than a Toyota Genuine part from the dealership. Same for spark plugs if you are changing them, its originally equipped with long life iridium electrode plugs.

Ok. Jazakallahkhair for your much needed expert opinion. So in order of priority it's general tune up first which will include valve clearance. For general tune up n afr testing I need a suggestion for a good, competent name in Karachi.
0-20 and 5-20 is recommended by manufacturer, however since it's old now n done 54k kms can I use 5-30 or 10-30, since I m located in Karachi.

54k kms is considered brand new for toyota AZ engine.
