What to do with my Dad 11 Bore Gun and Kartooos

Hi, After passing of my Dad, i found his old Gun 11 Bore, looks pretty old. and a box of kartoos.
What to do with that? Also he has license as well in his name.

can anyone tell me procedure to dispose this gun/kartoos/ and license?

Please dont give me advise to keep it dont want to keep it that is why here for guidance

On demise of licencee, his legal heirs can nominate one of the family members to inherit the weapon for which the death certificate of licencee and an affidavit from the family member nominating him for issuance of .licence on inheritance basis is required.

I would advise you to go to a good arms dealer in your city, ask for recommendations from friends and family.
Let the dealer know if you predicament and ask him to arrange it for you, for a small fee he should be able to get the inheritance license processed for you.

apply for retainer certificate, at provincial home secretary office through the DC of your district.

support your application with death certificate and arms license of the deceased, after necessary verification of documents the license book will be endorsed with your photo & cnic number. you may need to mention the number of live cartridges in possession [depending on the class of license ] if those are endorsed over the license book. In 70's the game class gun licenses use to get an annual quota at subsidized price [ read control rate ] drawing of cartridges and same was endorsed over the book licence.

If you have a some friend in police at DSP or higher level he can help you get through the process swiftly.

hum, Let me try to find some police wala and see what he says.
dont want to inherit it or keep it. just want to get rid of this thing , better to buy a small pistol than thing longggggggggggg 1 naali bandook

Dipose off the kartoos....kartoos have expiry they shouldnt be even around someone if they are old....get the lisence transfered on your name even if you dont need it...may come in handy some day
About the gun go to arms dealer get it serviced and keep it safe somewhere as its ur dads should be kept in the family
