Hey! I am being sold a potohar jeep which apparently doesn't have the 'biscuit' in it. The owner says he bought it a month or two back and he will get the biscuit made and install it and also get it transferred from excise to my name. The jeep is in its original body and registered in multan. Can you please give me clarity over whats a biscuit and should i buy it?
Sounds like the biscuit is the engine/chassis plate which is affixed on the vehicle.
Also known as "Tikli" in common language, if I am not wrong.
IMO, you shouldn't buy this vehicle.
My 6th sense is saying that something is very wrong with it.
Thank you so much for helping. I'd like to ask one more thing, what are the legal implications if this tikli is missing? Or as a matter of fact remade and placed? After i get it cleared from 15.
Well, I do not know about the legal issues, however, such vehicles have less resale.
IMO, it should not be done. It might be termed as a crime.
This is known as ID plate, Tikli, Biscuit
removal of this from a vehicle is subject to criminal penalty, making its locally is double penalty
