Yeah, I know. You have to remove a plethora of things to even get to the plugs.
A massive pain in the ass.

Why yes, I never said the rotary engines were capable of running for 10+ years without a hiccup.
I was simply stating that let's not have the image that we need the engine out every month for the simplest of maintenance tasks.
Other then that ofcourse you either need to be an expert mechanic with all the tools available or a trustable shop that can do all the major work for you.

Fixing rotarr engines is dead simple, mazda have made it pretty easy.

The engine and transmission drop out from the car very easily and can be done in under 2 hours with a lift, changing the plugs is pretty much the same amount of ass-pain as a fwd v6 engine where you have to teardown the intake manifold and also wiper cowling and even engine mounts in some cars to remove the rear bank plugs.

Heck

Even plugs on the new bmw engines take a few hours because you have to “deconstruct” the wiper cowl, air ducting, wiring etc to get to the coils and plugs.

get some WD40 Silicone Spray and spray it on the rails inside the door. They are non greasy non sticky and very useful for a variety of applications.

Potohar, i think is a step in the right direction but not quite. You sound like you need something open and airy like a JEEP and a guitar and a few friends to sing purani jeans with. Seriously! If i had 10lacs to blow id buy someone a fruit stand or donate to a cause. Each to their own i guess!
