My overall view is "nix". If not for the 3-pointer i would have thought it was a Mercury. It's neither here nor there. A salesman at one of the Ford dealers here told me that the Ford FIGO hatchback price starts at RS3.5lacs with a/c!!!. Also, the lighting at this Merc dealer sucks. $%^&. I told them off and they said they'll seriously "look into it".:D. Nice guys. A few "bad lighting pics"at the same dealer.

Update: AFAIK, the Chevy Cruze release has been postponed to either next week or as far as Oct12!. I wonder why, as GM(India) has already dispatched showroom and test cars to dealers across the country?.Anyways, i will update the launch of the Cruze as and when it happens. Meanwhile, a few spotting pics from a rather dreary rainy/drizzly day here, for the weekend.

From showroom to street, despite the stubborn efforts of the WagonR guy to prevent us from taking a pic of the Fortuner, this is the best my friend could get of the latest fad among homegrown SUV's . Check out the high stance of the Fortuner which is a great plus in horrific traffic conditions here.

The E-Class lists at RS49lacs on the road, ex-Madras. The price is slightly lower in Western India as it is made there.(Maharashtra state). Pics of the Cruze sedan coming up soon.

That Endeavour is a good buy. Went for a test drive yesterday, came away impressed. For 20L she's fully loaded with touchscreen GPS, reverse camera inbuilt 9"(?) screen and lots more. And oh yeah, for a SUV as big as that, automatic was a boon!

The M-B dealer here in Chennai will pay the 1st year insurance fee for the C-Class "Special Edition" if you make a deposit before the close of the month. That's a saving of almost RS1lac. Interested?.

What's the odds of finding two old Lexus cars parked together in a public garage?. I like the sedan design the most of all the LS series.That's why i took the pic, deserved mention .

They pack them tight on the roads here. Very tight.
