Wait for July, my Compadre. GM will formally release the Camaro in this market once they're done with the new Aveo sedan release. This is what my buddy at one of the GM dealers told me. Also, this car might make it to a GM dealer or a mall display in Chennai this weekend or next week, in which case i'll try and get close up shots for you.

The M800 is GONE!. Beginning Monday , Maruti-Suzuki dealer will not stock this car or sell it for use within 13 major Metros as it does not meet the new Emissions laws. I don't know about existing cars but i have seen city officials pulling over 800's for spot emissions check in Chennai last week. Sad to see this little car slowly disappear from the motoring scene!.

I think the 2010 All New Maruti-Suzuki Wagon-R might just beat the 2010 TATA ARIA MPV to the showrooms this month and/or i shall have an extra car to profile. Either way , i'm looking forward to test driving and reviewing them. Cya later...

None save for a few importers who will bring in a car not sold by the major manufacturers on request. Major luxury automakers have set up shop to directly sell their cars and the old day importers have now transformed themselves into authorized new or used car dealers in luxury cars which is far more lucrative and hassle free!. Good for the consumer too as a one year old luxury car less depreciation is a far better buy than new!. Good for all concerned.

Sure. I'll check out which source has the most comprehensive info and post it later. Meanwhile, in the link below, you will see Toyota's local plus import offerings(LC, Prius and Prado). Ever since i designated the Chevy BEAT as the "theme" car for this year in this thread, the car keeps evading me!. I always seem to have my phonecam on off mode when the car drives up right in front of me or similar. Many other such instances is like spooky. I love the BEAT though and credit GM for being RAD and having the guts to bring it to market too!. I saw a really cool white BEAT with chrome rims, tint and spoiler so folks are beginning to pimp them out which is great for spotting. I will eventually get 'em.

My fav Indian auto mags are Autocar(India) and BBC TopGear(India). The ones i post cover the Indian car scene exclusively and that's why i buy them!.

The Ford Fiesta 'S' is the best sport compact sedan from the Ford stable and is exclusive to the Indian market.One has to drive or ride in it to really feel it!. Awesome. The 2010 Santro is a big letdown. The changes are body colored grille and new wheels covers, yet the car continues to be a best seller month after month!.
