Volvo XC60

Swedish auto maker Volvo has launched its new luxury SVU "XC60" in the Indian market. Volvo XC60 is the safest Volvo car in India, powered by 2.4-litre five-cylinder diesel engine which gives 205bhp of power and 420Nm of torque.
Volvo XC60 will be imported as CBUs and available in four colors and the interiors come with four upholstery colours.
Price of Volvo XC60 in India:
Rs. 39.50 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi)
Rs. 41.41 Lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai with Octroi)
Mercedes-Benz R-Class

The 2011 Mercedes Benz R-class has been launched in India (actually Oct07 but i forgot to report the launch here earlier) for a price tag of Rs. 58.79-lakh. The variant of the R Class launched here is the R350 4Matic which is powered by a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine good for 272bhp worth of power and 350Nms of torque output. The full size MPV will be imported via the CBU route and deliveries are expected to start in November. There are no plans for a diesel variant as of now.
