Pics posted on page 237 are of the facelifted C-class. There are two trim levels and i took pics of both base and 'avant garde' model. Below is a pic of the public display of the new C-class 'avant garde' model on page 222.

I believe dollar effect will apply specifically to import cars and i haven't seen any news or web story re: the same. Most executive/upmarket cars like the A4, A6, C, E class et alia are made in India anyways apart from the slew of domestic made cars so prices are more dependant on raw material prices and taxation rather than on currency fluctuations.In fact, prices have dropped for domestic cars as you can see in this page. You can drive away a quality homemade Nissan Micra on road for RS4.2lacs with power steering, aircon, 1.5liter petrol engine, driver side airbag with accessories like wheel covers and floor mats thrown in, for example. I'm not the definitive authority in this matter and good question, though. For once.:P:)
