Whats the comfortable and beautiful places in NORTH to spent 2 summer months

i am Salman (45 age) from Lahore.
1: Whats the most secure, cheap, comfortable and beautiful places in NORTH to spent 2 summer months, with family. to relax.
2: can we buy small house there, as a long-term investment, how much could be the price of such 1/2 room house ?
3: anyone spent weeks/months in northern areas? whats the experience ?

Northren areas are recommended to stay for short trips like a week or two only, because you will get bore in totally different area for couple of months.

For your particular purpose you need to stay in Galyaat like Murree, Nathyagali etc or in Neelum valley which will be closest to your home town. I can give you contacts in these area or better to come on weekend trip to check these possabilities and then decise.
