Can someone advise after how many kilometres the company fitted spark plugs last before they need to be replaced? The spares shop guy says 15,000km. Is this correct?
No plugs should be check at atleast 40,000 kms. My 1.8 has done 56,000 kms on original plugs
80,0000-100,000kmsI changed mine at 85000kms. Original plugs are iridium and this is written in manual of car. Why didn't you concern owner's manual of your car before asking anyone?

Doc 80+ easily. 100k is a bonus. Mine were working fine at 85k kms but changed them. Single plug costed me 1900rs at that time.
Come on bro. No need for that. Concern owner's manual for everything.
Iridium plugs have more mileage than other plugs about 45 to 50 kms. plus iridium plugs contribute to give better mileage. Other plugs only done 10 to 15k mileage.
