Where can i buy vacuum pump in islamabad/Rawalpindi?

Can anyone guide me from where i can buy A vacuum pump in islamabad or rawalpindi (The cheaper the better). I’ll be using vacuum pump for car and home split AC. I don’t need some expensive professional model as i’ll be using it for personal HVAC appliances.

Any help would be appreciated.

you need to look for shops dealing with refrigeration & air conditioning, HVAC spares and parts, and ideally dealing with industrial customers.

Try "Gul Traders" near Naz cinema chowk, Murree road Rawalpindi. They used to sell Value company, a Chinese brand, vacuum pumps.

Try to get the dual stage pump and at least 3 to 4 cfm model.

You will need to buy a line set (3x 1.5m) and a manifold gauge as well with the dial gauge indicating all your required refrigerants like R134a, R410 (and R22 if you have an older ac at your home ) or you can buy a digital gauge that is expensive but very handy to use.

For the car ac you also need quick release couplers. Finally, you need to check the end connectors of line set so that they properly mate with manifold gauge set, cylinder valve and also with R134a couplers or you have to buy few adapters as well.

Add your required refrigerant cylinders to the list as well if you haven't bought them already. Those little disposable containers labelled with some renowned refrigerant brands are mostly fake.

if I can get the contact number of the shop for delivery outside Rawalpindi, I need the exact 3cfm+, dual stage maybe if not more costly, on olx they are asking 3cfm for 25000.

1. is lineset required in addition to manifold, they include the lines?
2. adapter will be required for connecting wih vacuum pump? because manifold linesets will be compatible with split acs atleast.
3. what to do about gas, how to know getting original for a r22 or will Chinese one will do.

Found this over google, not sure whether they are the same Gul Traders or not but you can try the numbers and put up all your queries there.

One thing that I have noticed, these Chinese vacuum pumps are rated at 60Hz of supply voltage i.e., if you select a 3CFM pump as written on the name plate, it will actually deliver a little lower flow rate at 50Hz. Therefore, read the name plate carefully or you can visit www.valueworld.cn to select your desired model before visiting the market.

1. Mostly lines set is included in the package, but some professional gauge sets like Imperial USA or Testo Germany are also sold separately.

2. Can't comment on this point but there are different process connectors used in different refrigeration systems. R410 and R134a at least employ different process connectors. When I bought R134 quick release couplers they already have adapters with them in the same packing.

3. If you plan to use these tools on longer term basis i.e., for future expected repairs of all your family cars and all the ACs installed at your home then I will suggest you to invest a little further and buy sealed cylinders of Honeywell brand refrigerants from Fakhri brothers. Fakhri Brothers are few shops away from Gul Tradres on main Murree road. They are a thousand rupees or so expensive from the rest but they are reliable. Last year price per cylinder was 18500 PKR.
