Where can I find miniature ball bearings for PC fans in Lahore?

So I've this old GPU (GTX 750Ti) in my PC whose fans are giving me headaches. The secondary fan is relatively okay (for now) but the main one has gotten very loud. It wobbles around and makes grinding noises. I lubricated both fans a few weeks ago with motor oil, which fixed the problem temporarily, but now the noise is back. The fans have sleeve bearings and I believe the bearing has completely worn out to the point that no amount of lubrication can save them now.

Instead of paying ~3,500 for fans (AliExpress), which is kinda nuts (I bought the GPU for 7.5k!), I've decided to take matters in my own hands. I'm thinking about yanking out the sleeves with a screw or something and replacing them with durable double ball bearings.

But here's the problem:

I'm not sure which ball bearing size would fit in the fans. Hence I need to find a shop where I can test the bearings personally. I don't have a vernier calliper or the knowledge/skill to accurately determine the dimensions of the ball bearings just by measuring the metal bushing of the fan so...

Well, I'm kinda lost at this point so any input or advice would be deeply appreciated!

you can try Brandreth road but chances are very low.
maybe you can try some modification and install readily available fans from computer market

you wont be able to find those bearings and installing them is also done at critical temperature so the mounting is malleable but supported - meaning, expensive jig required.

Best find another fan assembly and make sure it a nice foxconn unit.

try to dismantle the fan and show some close up pics.

use a scale to measure the dia and thickness of the fan.

go to any pc scrapyard you will find them in abundance. i had faced similar issue and found a matching fan in pc scrapyard. in pindi its in dubai plaza. and college road.shar the pcis of the bearings.

try kharadia in locality i have seen people making small items from them esp the rollers for bearings.

The experiments with those super tiny bearings are not really worth the time and effort, especially for a GTX 750 Ti.

I would recommend you to remove old fans, remove outer fan casing and zip tie 2 case fans over the heatsink .

If both case fans are same amperage as stock fans or lower, you can re-wire them directly to GPU and adjust fan speed curve for optimum temperatures if needed.

This is just reference photo from internet for explanation, but i had done the same in past temporarily and these case fans are more economically priced, more silent and way more efficient than stock fans.

I had connected them as case fans and they even alarmed "fan stop warning on fan malfunction" which the original GPU fans did not have.

P.S Since you seem to know about PCs; I'm trying to upgrade my old Dell 990 (i5-2400) to something a bit more powerful, preferably custom built. Budget is right about ~40k + the money I get by selling the 990. Going to keep the 750Ti for the time being.

I would recommend just upgrading this PC, even though upgradation capacity is limited on this.

1) 20-30k max - upgrade GPU first of all (GTX 970, GTX 1060, GTX 1660 series, RX 570, RX 580 etc).

2) 10k - i7 3770 should be compatible with your current 1155 socket motherboard.

3) RAM upgrade to 16GB.

These 3rd gen i5 and i7, paired with a good GPU are still perfectly usable for solid 1080p 60 fps gaming on a tight budget.

You don't need additional fan controller.

Don't know if GTX 750 Ti fans are PWM or Voltage based, but you can match the right type of fan directly to GPU as well, and GPU fan speed control will work perfectly.

You can also power those fans with system fan headers, directly to power supply 5v or 12 molex connector, depending on speed required to maintain optimum temperatures.

Not the 3770, but I was thinking about dropping an i7-2600 equivalent Xeon E3-1270 (6k) in there. It was a cheap upgrade but then I realized that 990s don't support Xeons, at least not with a hacked BIOS so I abandoned the idea completely.

As for regular i7s, their prices have shot-up quite a bit in recent months! 17k for an i7-3770 and 14k for the i7-2600, which is ridiculous.

Plus, I probably won't be able to squeeze a 1070 in there! Even my 750 is a tight fit.

They're PWM with four pins and run at 12V/0.25A whereas most 120mm fans run at 0.90A or more. I think they'd overload the GPU! 990's motherboard doesn't have any fan headers, unfortunately, otherwise I'd have used a 2 in 1 splitter cable or something.

You should not spend more than 20-30k on used GPU, majority sold here are from mining rigs.

10-12k max for i7 3770 (without motherboard).

Those fans you looked were server fans from branded PC, too overkill for GPU even at their 30% lowest speed. Normal case fans mostly are 0.25A Rated.

GTX 750 Ti is world's most popular model, too common and finding its fan or nearest alternatives from local shops (dead cards) should not be that difficult.

Try aliexpress for used CPU. I also upgraded my processor to Xeon. Got it from aliexpress for just 2.5k. performance equivalent to an i7
