Where can I get Rear Fender Liner for Suzuki Alto Vxr 660cc 2023

Assalamu Alikum everyone. I just bought a brand new Alto. There is a issue in this car. Whenever you're driving and there is dirt or small pebbles on the road they get picked up by the tyres and flicked on the insides of the rear fender. Unfortunately Alto doesn't have any rear fender liner. So can you please guide me from where can I buy it and will I have to do any sort of alterations to fit it. JazakAllah

I dont think that part exists. Liners in rear fenders are never seen in cheaptasfic cars like the alto.

Theirs no concept of a rear fender liner, at most you can do is get a rubberized under coating done.

Check under something like a modern luxury car, there are liners under the entire floor of the car and in all 4 wheel housings.

The op probably wants all that in alto money!

You're probably right. But I really need one for my car as the road noise becomes unbearable if the stereo is off. There are also a couple more things I want to do with the car as well to suit it better to my needs. I picked the car up from Suzuki yesterday and the first thing I did was install a cover on the ECU. Now I want to but a a sheet under the bonnet (namda). And maybe some sound deadening sheet in the fenders as well. There are two types bonnet covers available in the market. One is a black fabric type and the other is like a aluminium sheet. Which one would you suggest.

Why do you need an ecu cover? Its an aircooled ecu and its plugs have seals too.

If you are going to go the jumbolon route tor sound control, then might as well pre appoint a denter ustaad too as it will trap moisture and rust out the metal.

The factory style jute/nylon or areated nylon fiber matrix is not sold in retail in pk.

Get the underside rubber coated. Excessive road noise also has to do with tires, maybe get some quieter tires. Apart from that, you cannot really do anything else about it.

I don't want the car to be completely quiet! I just want to reduce the sound that comes when pebbles or dirt hits the inside of the rear fenders that's all. The engine cover I want because it looks aesthetically pleasing. Other than that I was thinking of putting some sound deadening aluminium sheet inside the fenders and under the hood as a experiment to see whether or not it has any impact. Other than that the ECU cover was EXTREMELY NECESSARY IMO because the ECU is almost naked and is in an area where wiper fluid falls sometimes or if it's raining then the ECU gets wet. I just want to do a few small things to make the car more suitable as to my needs that's all.

that ecu isnt naked, its built for that environment. it needs ambient air cooling. If you want to see crazy ecus, new turbo bmws have the ecu cooled with boost. some cat engines have fuel cooled ecus too.

btw - dont use aluminium sheet, it will sound like a drum - making it even worse. you need a dense fibrous sheet of fiberglas.

Drive slow on pebbly road.

Don't let the car wash guy, wash your engine like crazy.

Cover it with a shopping bag if you need to.

What ever you do, their is no solution to the engine noise and road noise in a Pakistan Suzuki.

They are not build upto that quality. Brand new cars have airleaks, and what not.

I'd just say drive it, keep 10,000 aside every month as replacement cost. Don't even buy seat covers for it.

Sell it and buy a new one every 2 years. You would be very happy.

No need to replace anything just keep putting new engine oil every 10,000 kms or 6 months.

exactly what a fuel saver is meant to be, anything u spend on car will be deducted from the savings u get on fuel.

exactly you are right... this alto is good for 3 year after that if we could we have to change it..

since day 1 that engine noise is bugging me so hard.. its like driving American Muscle car .. i googled and contacted so many persons after all of the hard work i did to reduce the noise of the engine in the end nothing happent unable to reduce the noise

You will only put your money down the drain, Sound dampening, Bonnet underlay / Carpet every thing is just for money minting.

The car is designed in the different manner for the Pakistani market, It performs differently.

when buying a vehicle, never forget what the vehicle's target audience is. e.g. people buy a doodh walay ka pickup (hilux) and then complain of rough ride, forgetting that they have bought a literal cargo hauler. Its suspension is unforgiving when unloaded.

Similarly when buying a cheap and cheerful box of a car like your alto, its meant for ultimate cheap transport, lowest cost of purchase and also ownership. It also has a very short EOL (End of life) due to these limitations. Trimmings like noise control, driver comfort or road manners are not even part of the original project precis of this car. Trying to apply hot fixes wont get you any gains in this - (similarly removing a spring from the leaf stack of the hilux mentioned above will cause road handling issues and axle warping etc).

Totally agreed... alto is hard to maintain .. the build Quality not good and specially interior inner plastic like scrape yard plastic.

the engine noise. i have picanto too sometime i drive CIVIC 10th gen .(which is my uncle car). after driving those car .civic is out of league so right now comparing picato with alto .. whenever i drive picanto after that sitting in alto feel so awful.. and yea mingling with engine bay area using dumping sheets stuff like that is totally waste of time and energy

Pak suzuki never build strong car ..so people should worry about their cars after some time.. for example latest Swift model what a pathetic material they used in interior

As mentioned above, Alto falls in a different price category when launched, it replaced Mehran. It wasn't competing with Picanto.

A fender costs rs. 5500
Bumpers costs rs.3500/4500

Even painting these parts cost more then the parts now. So parts aren't very expensive actually compared to prices of parts of Picanto (which are mostly not available) or prices of parts of Civic which would cost an arm and a leg.

My family enjoyed Alto throughly for 3 years are 27000 kms.

Later I replaced it in the Suzuki Exchange program with a Suzuki Cultus.

Alto is an ideal city car, women and old people love it, It maneuvers fantastically parking it is never a issue.

Once a friends Alto collided and over turned passengers got out zero injuries, but that day I decided to sell ours. It's very tiny and fragile.

You are getting what you pay for. Ideally speaking a 5 year old Honda city in low mileage zero meter like condition can be purchased in the price of a an Alto and it would be more durable.

But Alto is supposed to be brand new peace of mind and cheap parts and yes, fuel economy with rs.330 petrol.

Also once you see petrol figures for the Picanto and the Civic, you might actually start loving the engine noise Alto makes.

but why Alto drives better than Cultus?

Swift is much better smoother than both.

there is certain body roll which becomes unbearable while driving Cultus,

i know Cultus has shorter wheelbase but still it cannot be the sole reason

agreed... alto has some pros and cons too!

but i know petrol is going to increase again upcoming month i am hearing this news. But still few months ago i remember i was reversing the car i touched the CG125 handle this happent i can tell you it was like alto back just touched the handle i thought kuch nai ho ho ga.. but next day i saw this. minor dent and i was shocked .. nothing happent to CG125 handle not a single scratch but i got this..

and in Exchange program how much it costed? wt was the process
