Where is the fuel filter for honda city i-dsi 2008?

we recently picked up this old 2008 honda city and are wondering where the fuel filter is located?

under rear seat inside the fuel tank., it is part of fuel pump assembly.

Its under the hand brake, you have to remove to console to access it.

Yes city has fuel tank located between driver and passenger seats.

its under the hand break place, when you take out the Fuel PUMP it has the Fuel Filter in plastic where the Pump is installed, replace it for better Milage. the Whole palstic Assembly is Fuel Filter which is Filter inside the Plastic Borders.

So I have to replace the whole pump assembly? Other cars i've worked on, the fuel filter is separate.

We did find an owner's manual online (last owner lost it) and there are instructions on how to replace it. But we kept looking around the engine bay (like shown in the diagram) and couldn't find it.

This is fuel pump assembly of Honda City 2008 there is a strainer attached to the fuel pump which filter out any particles present in the fuel

No the pump does not need to be replaced unless it is malfunctioning.

Assalmualikum. Recently i also changed 2008 idsi fuel pump which is located under console box. If u remove console box u will find it

It is located somewhere between the driver and the console piece, you might have to remove the console to access the filter
