Where is the VSS located in Cultus 2016?

Ussalaam-o-alaikum

Can anybody guide me where is the VSS (Vehicle Speed Sensor) is located?
What are the pin-outs of the Fan Switch?
I want to build a digital Speed-o-meter + Temperature display unit.

Also any price idea of the Fan Switch? Is new unit available?
The original one has gone bad, I need to change it.

Your 2016 Cultus has a cable attached to the Transmission which mechanically check on speed and the mileage!

If you need to install a Digital Speedo you will require an Electronic Speed Sensor attached instead of the Speedo Cable to the Transmission. Similarly The Car has a Temperature Sensor near the T-Stat Valve Sending readings to the Gauge that will be changed to a newer electronic temperature sensor connected.

What exactly do you want to do?

I have read somewhere that the Cultus' ECU has input from the VSS via green/yellow or violet wire. The VSS issues signal pulses which the ECU converts into speed. I wanted to access those pulses to display speed on a digital display.

Similarly, I want to access the output from the temperature switch to display the temperature.

Do you want to change the cluster or install a secondary one? Because some digital HUD Units are available that directly connect to the ECU and give you the required reading and much more.

I think desi electricians had some converter to install on the gearbox of cars to get vss

For temperature, use your own thermocouple

I could arrange my own VSS setup on the car but that needs lot of effort to secure it against harsh running conditions. Hence I prefer to access the car's VSS to make the things simple and neat.

Similarly, I don't need to install my own thermocouple the temperature switch can easily do the job.
