Where to buy furniture from..?

We are looking for two double sets, one single bed set, one sofa set and one dining table(with all bed sets, we do NOT dressing tables). We are bit tight on budget and we really do not want to spend like 45k on double bed set rather want to confine ourselves to 30-35k. We have visited some placed in Lahore and the prices are just insane over there.

So I and my father have decided to go and check out Chinyot to find a better deal..

So any suggestions from your side...??

i know this much that chinyoti furniture is quite cheap in chinyot as compared to other cities. make sure that you know how to assess quality of wood.

Chinyot furniture is goood but for modren deisgns lahore is better

You can also check furniture in Gujrat. They used solid wood n its bit cheaper than chinyoti.

I mean,we are looking for middle quality stuff, neither crap nor sky-high price.

I doubt you can find furniture in your price range from gujrat. Chinyot maybe. One word of advise though. Avoid out of city dealers. We purchased some furniture from Gujrat and it was the worst experience ever. We got delivery after 1 year and constant calls/vists/tension/fights. We have found furniture dealers in Lahore to be much better. On time delivery and much better customer service plus if some problem arises you can always pay them a visit

For 35/40 thousand I'm sure u won't get good quality beds. I'm into furniture business since 22 years and my firm is one of the oldest in Pakistan estd in 1870 in Rawalpindi. There r lot of factors which contribute in making good quality furniture eg seasoned wood ,craftsmanship,proportions ,durability,finishing etc etc. For your price you'll have to sacrifice on almost all things mentioned above. We manufacture high end furniture which is quite expensive but it would last almost lifetime. But brother you increase your budget to 70 to 80 thousand and I'm sure you'll get considerably better furniture from the Market.I'm not much aware of Lahore but furniture guild and moukam r better of the lot I suppose.

one donest need brand new if can find good used. matresses you should buy new.

70-80k is seriously too much. If any dealer does not give lifetime warranty for any bed set costing 70k-80k then a big facepalm really! But I think 40k is pretty fine value for fine furniture -- again of course, I am NOT talking about best of the class with fabrications..I am talking about simple furniture sets with good and durable wood in it. Above all, we do NOT need dressing table which actually makes a big chunk of total price of bed sets.

My advise is to buy "kora" furniture and get it polished at your place. It will cost you far less then the furniture available at classy showrooms. Visit Multan road lahore for kora (un-finished) furniture of all type at whole sale price.

there is a furniture market in front of Jinnah Hospital... on Moulana Shokat ali Road... used, refurbished and new all are available there... you should find one in about 25 to 30 k...

Have you checked out interwood? They have some complete bed-sets in your range. Otherwise you can have a bed-set made from peshawar in your price range easily.
