Where to buy the number plates from in Lahore

I received a challan 2 days ago as i had number plates with fancy fonts. Fined Rs. 300 which i will need to clear today.

As i understand it the number plates should have a black background with white fonts on them. Have i got that right? My car is of black color. Also can someone guide me as to where in Lahore i can get the number plates made. I work in Baghban Pura and live in Iqbal Town so any thing close from there would be good. Thanks.

Computerized number plates have different format, while older ones had different. Is it registered in 2nd half of 2006 or before that?

Thanks for the quick reply. It's registered in March 2005 and did not come with original number plates when bought. Hope that helps.

depends upon the reg date of ur car the namona of number plate depends upon the year of reg i mean

According to Punjab Govt advert All cars registered after September 2006 should get Computerized No Plates from their respective Excise offices otherwise owners will face fines.

I also live in iqbal town.. i have two 13 registered cars and i dont have theit govt plates.. they have the black plastic plates. Now i want to know from where i can get them made plus my new car will be registered soon so i wanted white background with black simple fonts but plastic one! Will that work?

The plastic plates with white font of Times New Roman is good to go. I have these number plates on my all cars but i have never receive any challan. Go for simple not anything fancy and you are good to go

2. Spare Parts market Saddar, Lahore (probably its called Dhaaka Road too)

3. Waris Road at its origin from Jail Road between Toyota Sahara Motors and Ali Motors

4. Spare Parts Market on Peco Road

5. Gulberg Main Market (as u turn from Main Boulevard towards main market immediately look to ur left, they are sitting on roadside
